Hardware

The platform is based on Intel processors servers. The most important component is the Telecommunications Server (heavy duty) designed and built to support high workloads and guarantee a 24 x 7 x 365 operation. It uses specialized Intel/Dialogic telephony cards, wihich are caracterized by their high reliability and are the most used computer telephony component in the world market.

Software

The platform was developed using .NET and Envox ADL as front-ends to service administration modules and telepony management, respectively, and as Data Base back-end, MS SQL Server

Specialized Software

The platform uses Loquendo’s TTS (Text To Speech) Engine, of wide use in this type of solutions. This engine has masculine and feminine voices in a neutral spanish and with a latin american accent. Its quality is very close to the human one. The Loquendo’s TTS engine has an independent interface that allows the on-line administration of a vocabulary for the definition of emoticons, abbreviations and pronunciations.
